We went to the Recycling Centre last week. They could even make a fleece jacket after they recyled some plastic. They had pencil cases made out of old tyres and plastic cups made into a pencil.We can all help to save the environment by recyling things.

We have been learning about REUSE,REDUCE and RECYCLE. I was really excited when the teacher said we could visit the recyling plant in Glasgow.I couldn’t wait. We had to be very careful because the machines were big and very dangerous. I will try to get my mum to remember to put stuff in the recycling bin from now on.

Last Thursday we went to the Recycling Centre at Polmadie. We were amazed at the huge pile of rubbish we saw there. They were using massive machines to recyle it. I was a bit scared when we had to climb up really high stairs to look down on all the rubbish.
